Elevated p70S6K in γ-SG-/-muscles is independent of calcium. EDL muscles from C57 and γ-SG-/- mice were maintained in normal oxygenated Ringer’s solution, calcium-free oxygenated Ringer’s solution or oxygenated Ringer’s solution supplemented with tetracaine for 30 min.
