No difference in body weight and survival of miR-206/133b and mdx mutant mice. (A) The body weight of male animals is not different at 6 weeks of age (n ≥11/group); however, at later ages (B), the mdx mutation leads to an increase in body weight that is not further modified by mutation of the miRNA cluster (wildtype (WT): miR-206/133b+/+, knock-out (KO): miR-206/133b−/−; MDX: mdxY/-; n ≥5/group). (C) Survival of miR-206/133b mutants is not impaired. The mdx mutation does not affect survival of miR-206/133b knock-out mice.
