CSQ C-terminal tail contributes to CSQ1 aggregation. CSQ turbidity, an indicator of polymerization and aggregation, is measured as absorbance at 350 nm. Experiments were carried out in a buffer containing 20 mM MOPS, 100 mM KCl, and 0 to 3 mM CaCl2. Data is presented as mean ± SEM for each of the CSQ1 constructs. Asterisks (*) indicate average data significantly different (P ≤ 0.05) from that of WT CSQ1 at the same [Ca2+].
