Analysis of NMJ-associated genes in the EDL muscle of 5- and 19-month-old control and VAChT^hyp mice. This analysis showed that only AChE is altered and specifically in 19-month-old VAChT^hyp mice (a). Transcripts for AChRγ, AChRε, MuSK, Lrp4, rapsyn, DOK7, and CDK5 were expressed at similar levels in the EDL muscle of VAChT^Hyp compared to control mice at 5 and 19 months of age (b–h).
