Analysis of transcripts associated with muscle fiber identity (MyHC2A, MyHC2B, MyHC2B) and markers of muscle regeneration and atrophy (Myogenin, Foxo1, Atrogin-1) revealed no change in the EDL muscle of VAChTHyp compared to control mice at 5 and 19 months of age (a–f). At least four female mice per genotype maintained on a C57BL/6 background were used to compare transcript levels. Error bar = Standard Error
