Analysis of transcripts associated with muscle fiber identity (MyHC2A, MyHC2B, MyHC2B) and markers of muscle regeneration and atrophy (Myogenin, Foxo1, Atrogin-1) revealed no change in the EDL muscle of VAChTHyp compared to control mice at 5 and 19 months of age (a–f).
