Ibuprofen reduced cell spreading of skeletal muscle cells. Skeletal muscle cells were treated with 0.05 mg/ml, 0.1 mg/ml, 0.2 mg/ml, and 0.4 mg/ml ibuprofen for 24 h. After plating for 30 min, the attached skeletal muscle cells started to spread out and were observed via F-actin staining (a). The spread cells were indicated by the white arrows. F-actin was stained green, and nuclei were stained blue. The percentage of spreading cells out of adhered cells was shown in b, and the data represented the mean ± SEM% of three independent experiments. *Mean p < 0.05 compared to the control.
