Hierarchy of TF expression during muscle regeneration process. After a muscle injury, muscle stem cells (MuSCs) are activated and exit the quiescence state. Activated MuSC transit to proliferative muscle progenitor cells (myoblasts) which next transit into differentiated myocytes.
