A The 3′UTRs of the 2848 protein-coding genes identified in this study were screened for miRNA targets in their 3′UTRs using 16 high-quality body-muscle miRNAs identified in this study. We identified four subnetworks. Each miRNA is shown in grayscale and varies in size, depending on its number of predicted targets. Each target is shown in a different color, depending on the number of predicted miRNA targets in its 3′UTR, as from the miRanda algorithm. Red: one target, yellow: two targets, green: three or more targets. B Transgenic C. elegans strains expressing GFP fluorochrome under the control of three miRNAs identified in this study.
