Calpain 3 protein abundance decreased 21.0% in response to transduction of myotubes with HERG1A-encoded adenovirus. Immunoblot shows that calpain 3 degraded into numerous fragments as expected, including three notable autocatalytic products: 114 kD (down 29.6%), 60 kD (down 29.2%), and 30 kD which was not affected.
